When is the best time to get married in the Southern Highlands?

Spring -  With warm days and cool nights, spring is the best of both worlds for those getting married,  Spring in the Southern Highlands is incredibly gorgeous, and with some of the most stunning cool climate gardens in the country, it's easy to see why so many couples select this wonderful spot to exchange their vows. With its distinct soil and temperature, the Southern Highlands produces beautiful spring blossoms.

Summer —  It's warm, but not as hot as it is in some other parts of NSW. There will be the rare 30+ degree day, but as far as temperatures go in Australia, it is fairly temperate and a nice season to get married just try to avoid ceremony under the sun at noon.

Autumn —  The temperature is  not too hot or too cold. This is the busiest time of year for weddings. The trees in the Southern Highlands will begin to change colour, adding to the enchantment. The best wedding locations will fill up quickly, so make your reservation as soon as possible. Because of the light and colour of the trees, autumn is most beautiful in the Southern Highlands.

Winter  - Generally cold  but a favourable season for photos in the Southern Highlands. Mist, frost, and the greatest light of the year, combined with a raging fire in an old barn, equals a magnificent wedding photograph. Because this is generally the off season for weddings, you may be able to obtain some amazing bargains and winter specials from wedding venues.
